“Recap of Angola Art Fest 2025: Fun for Families and the Creative Community!”
Angola Art Fest 2025 was a vibrant and successful community gathering, bringing together 70+ local vendors to enthusiastic community members. The event featured a range of exciting activities and performances that added to its overall appeal.
One of the highlights of the festival was the live performance from 3 local bands and the live morning broadcast of WLKI, along with free community line dance classes right out front of the historical county courthouse. Musical entertainment played a significant role in enhancing the festival’s atmosphere. Live demos of glass making, pottery and paintings were made possible by a grant from the Steuben County Community Foundation.
To cater to families, Commissioner’s Park was transformed into a kids’ area where The Public Library along with several other organizations provided art and music activities for children. Books were made available for young readers, and free face painting along with balloon animals added a fun and colorful element to the festivities. Children and families filled the lawn area and newly installed seating to hear about the Art of Nature by Silly Safaris. The kid’s corner was sponsored by the Steuben County Tourism Bureau.
We look forward to next years event taking place Saturday, August 1st, 2026 downtown Angola. For more information on how to get involved please reach out to Executive Director Khelley Adams at director@downtownangola.org or follow our Facebook Page “Angola Art Fest”.
