“Recap of Angola Art Fest 2023: A Community Extravaganza!”

Angola Art Fest 2023 was a vibrant and successful community gathering, bringing together 47 local vendors and artists while drawing in a crowd of 4,100 enthusiastic community members. The event featured a range of exciting activities and performances that added to its overall appeal.

One of the highlights of the festival was the live glass blowing demonstrations, provided by talented artists from Left Brain Glass and Eran Park Glass. Attendees had the unique opportunity to witness these captivating demonstrations up close and even try their hand at creating their own glass ornaments, adding an interactive and creative dimension to the event.
Musical entertainment played a significant role in enhancing the festival’s atmosphere. The lineup featured performances by The Fort Wayne Jazz Orchestra, local band Apart We Fall, and a heartwarming father and daughter duet by Raigyn and Rob Dobson, in addition to several other talented local solo artists.

To cater to families, the courtyard was transformed into a kids’ area where The Public Library and Lakes Country Music provided art and music activities for children. Books were made available for young readers, and face painting added a fun and colorful element to the festivities.

We look forward to next years event taking place Saturday, August 3rd downtown Angola. For more information on how to get involved please reach out to Community Coordinator Mackenzie Bird at mbird@angola.org or follow our Facebook Page “Angola Art Fest”.
